Suggested March 2024 Dry Skinz Iphone 7 Waterproof Case

Though I’m not a great fan of water sports, I love to occasionally let my hair down to enjoy swimming or beach party to the fullest. And all this while, I don’t fail to carry my iPhone with me to ensure I don’t miss out on urgent calls or tune into some melodious songs.

With iP67, iPhone 7 can be submerged in up to only one meter of water for a maximum of 30 minutes. Hence, I make sure to use a reliable waterproof case for breaking the shackles. A few days back, I got Dry Skinz waterproof case for iPhone 7 for review. Having given this new case a fair amount of run, I think it’s time to take it through for a hands-on review. Has this waterproof case what it takes to be a trusted swim suit of your iPhone? More after the jump.

Dry Skinz Waterproof Case for iPhone 7 Review Impressive Design

When I first put my hands on Dry Skinz, it felt like a highly protective case. The rugged frame with the clear back successfully passed my first test with flying colors.

This case features highly touch the sensitive glass on the front. Hence you can comfortably navigate through your device. Besides, you won’t have any problem in using 3D Touch on your smartphone.

Claimed to be six times stronger than standard glass, it’s fully capable of providing the reliable shield to the touchscreen against impact and scratch. With oleophobic coating, the glass is anti-fingerprint and dust resistant. Besides, it’s easy to clean.

The availability of four colors like black, white, blue and red makes it easier for you to pick the right match for your device.

Safeguards Your Device Against Water Submersion up to 2 Meters for 1 hour

With IP8X rating, it protects your smartphone against water submersion of up to 2 meters (6.5 feet) for one hour. It’s good enough to let you enjoy water sports to your heart’s liking.

The case performed reliably during my test; offering the needed protection to my device. I took for a long ride during the fun-loving swimming time the other day, and it did live up to my billing.

Three Layers of Solid Protection

Powered by three layers of casing, this waterproof case provides full-body protection to your device. Hence, if your device ever slips out of your hands and have a nasty encounter with bumps, the shockproof design would come to rescue it.

Despite having such a solid construction, the case doesn’t look bulky at all. To me, this is a very important aspect as hulking cover turns me off as I don’t feel comfortable to carry my device.

With the soft outer shell, Dry Skinz offers enhanced grip, thereby reducing any chance of a slip-up. So, while making the most of your swimming time, you can comfortably hold your device.

Better Acoustic

Music is what keeps me cheered up all the time. Whether I’m walking near the beach or taking deep dives into swimming pools, I love to catch up with some of my all-time favorite songs. Hence, I never compromise with acoustic output quality of any waterproof case.

Throughout the test, I found the acoustic output and sound clarity to be pretty good. I didn’t have any problem in listening to songs or communicating with my friends.

Except for one blemish (slightly inconsistent Home button), Dry Skinz has admirably stood up to the mark during my acid test. The waterproof case has pretty much ticked off all the important boxes. Three main qualities have stood out in this case: Strong built-up, neat design and highly-responsive glass.

That apart, it delivers unhindered acoustic output which ensures you are able to communicate or listen to songs without any disturbance.

If you are willing to buy a top-notch waterproof case for your iPhone 7, you shouldn’t hesitate in giving Dry Skinz a serious look as it’s packed in with all the must-have ingredients.

Casemade Iphone 7 Wallet Case

Whenever I’m traveling, I prefer to entrust a wallet case with the responsibility of my iPhone and the basic needs like taking care of my cards and some bills. Even if I’m not on the move, my iPhone wallet remains the king of my pocket more often than not.

Just recently, I made a long list of the best iPhone 7 wallet cases. I was thoroughly impressed with their quality and couldn’t help buying a couple of them for my new smartphone. But when I got a chance to look at the Casemade wallet case closely, my loyalty didn’t take much time to switch the side. It’s been about a week since I paired the case with my iPhone 7. Here is the review of the wallet case:

Casemade iPhone 7 Wallet Case Design

Crafted with genuine Italian cowhide leather, Casemade iPhone 7 wallet case personifies longevity and elegance. The beautiful stitching reinforces both the design and strength. It feels pretty soft to the touch.

Inside the wallet, iPhone fits perfectly into polycarbonate mold. Neat cutouts for buttons, camera, speakers and ports make using the case more convenient. Magnetic closure fastens the wallet with ease; securely keeping your valuables inside.

The case has been carved to enrich your professional taste. You will love carrying it in your hand at your office, in a high-profile meeting or anywhere you want.

The Complete Wallet

The case features three card slots and a big compartment for money or bill. What I really like about this case is that it doesn’t look bulky at all even if you stash three cards and some money inside the pockets.

Casemade offers all the comfort you would want to remain unfazed about your iPhone while traveling. Just a couple of days back, I had gone to my hometown. This wallet didn’t let me miss my purse. From storing credit/ID cards to some money, it ensured my little needs are ideally matched.

Durability and Protection

There are a number of pricey wallet cases which neither last long nor survive the regular wear and tear or drops. While I have a huge penchant for the state-of-the-art design, I do want my case to last long and give my money a long run.

Casemade wallet clearly wins the race in this regard. Apart from being an adorable partner of your iPhone, it makes sure the device has the needed safeguard to withstand bumps as well as resist impact. Moreover, the case has the strength to be exceptionally durable.

The Bottom Line

Casemade wallet case has ticked off all the boxes from the perspective of a choosy buyer. Whether it’s design, comfort, protection or affordability, the case passes the test with flying colors.

With it, you are rest assured that your iPhone has a fascinating and long-lasting companion. Considering all the qualities the wallet brings to the table, you would like to happily pay for it to be a worthy asset for your iPhone 7.

Mikol Nero Marquina Iphone 7 And 7 Plus Marble Case

The real secret of my iPhone looking ever attractive is beautiful cases. Depending on mood, occasions or need, I style my iPhone. As for instance, wallets are my automatic choice during travel, battery cases become the real need during a tour and slim cases offer me more comfort during regular use. Nero Marquina

Whenever I get ready for a high-profile outing or special occasion, I make sure my iPhone looks pleasing to the eyes. With a view to making my smartphone stand out, I have tried marble cases. Their natural flair is what appeals my taste a lot.

When I got Nero Marquina Marble iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Cases to review about a week back, I was impressed to see their marvelous craftsmanship. But, was that enough to compel me to buy them?

Mikol Nero Marquina Marble Case for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

Finest Marble

The case has been carved out of 100% natural marble. Its superiority lies in the genuine quality. The ability to retain its elegance for long makes Nero Marquina Marble case a hot favorite for the folks who wish to buy a unique suit for their iPhone.

I like the top notch quality of marble used in the case. It is catchy enough to easily steal attention.

Vivid Design

The marble case sports an adorable design. The precise cutouts for ports, camera, and buttons offer the required comfort. It feels comfortable to hold. There is no bulk at all to make your iPhone look heavy. It fits snuggly. Slim profile makes a stunning match with the iPhone.

Both in terms of design and convenience, the case held up very well. While the stylish design caught eyeballs effortlessly, the sleek appearance ensured the comfort to carry the case.

While buying a special case, the one thing that I never compromise with is design. This marble case passed my test in this regard with flying colors. Most of my friends appreciated its look and did spend some good time in checking it out.

Special Engraving

A lot of people like to personalize their stuff. It’s great and I appreciate that. It’s nice that the manufacturer allows you to add your own stamp to it.

You can give the case your personal touch with the special engraving. The engraved names will appear in gold right below the logo. You will need to pay extra $25 for this cool addition.

The Bottom Line…

Nero Marquina Marble cases are simply marvelous. The state-of-the-art design, premium quality and the option for personalization make the case an exquisite option.

Of course, the high price is the only thing that might come in the way of letting you grab this case. However, considering your desire to present a unique gift to your iPhone, it would be worth checking out.

Personally, I would love to pay for it in order to make my iPhone look fascinating. Excellent craftsmanship and fashionable profile are the two major aspects which set this the marble case apart.

Loop Mummy Iphone Case Review

Loop Mummy iPhone case review

Smartphone cases are a mixed bag nowadays — some are great, some are good, and some are just pretty awful. On top of the fact that cases are a hotly-debated item in the first place, it’s pretty difficult for case manufacturers to get the attention of smartphone users, and only a few have done it successfully. Loop Attachment has made a pretty unique silicone case called the Mummy, and it’s arrived just in time for Halloween. I ended up trying one out for myself to get a first impression and see how well it worked.

Personally, I don’t use a case on my phone since I’m not a huge fan of them to begin with. However, the Mummy case got my attention pretty quickly, and it’s one of the few cases that I was excited to actually try out. Obviously, right away you’ll notice the back of the case makes it look like the phone is wrapped with mummy wrappings (hence the name). The Apple logo and the “iPhone” are still visible, which is some clever design work to say the least. The mummy wrappings also serve another purpose besides just looking cool. You can stick credit cards, IDs, or cash in between the case and the phone, which also makes it a great makeshift wallet.

As with any silicone case, it can be a little difficult to slide your phone in and out of your pocket due to the rubbery texture, but the Mummy actually felt less rubbery, and it slid into my pocket a lot easier than most cases would. However, just like with any case, the Mummy does add a little bit of thickness to the iPhone, which gets rid of one of the features that makes the iPhone appealing in the first place. It can take time to get used to the size difference, but if you love the thinness of the iPhone, you’re probably not even using a case anyway.

The button “extenders,” so to speak, for the volume and power buttons work surprisingly well; they don’t take any more effort to push than normal, which can’t be said with most other iPhone silicone cases sadly. The opening for the ring/silent switch just above the volume buttons is a bit off, but that’s only because the case is catered towards both the iPhone 4 and 4S, which have slightly different placements when it comes to that small switch — not a huge deal there.

I did find it a bit of a nuisance trying to fit a credit card into the back of the case. Loop didn’t make it easy, since you kind of have to jimmy it in pretty good. There were even times where I was afraid I was going to scratch up the back of my iPhone with my credit card. Cash is even worse, since it’s more flimsy than a card. The trick is just to lift up the flaps and slide it in as best you can.

Overall, if you’re looking to get a minimalist and stylish silicone case for your iPhone, I’d probably tell you to get this one, despite the couple of very minor flaws. The case is well built, looks great, and has a one-of-a-kind unique Halloween theme that also works year-round.

Loop Attachment makes the Mummy case for the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and the new iPhone 5 (pre-order only). The iPhone 5 version will be available early next month for a special introductory price of $20. The iPhone 4/4S version costs $25, or you can get a bundle of three Mummy cases for $60.

Otterbox Unveils Durable, 2600Mah Resurgence Power Case For Iphone 6

OtterBox has today revealed its Resurgence power case for the iPhone 6 at CES 2024. The company made its first foray into the iPhone power case market with the Resurgence for iPhone 5/5s, so it only seems fitting for the company to continue iterating on the case. OtterBox touts that the Resurgence for iPhone 6 doubles the battery life of the smartphone, while also offering military grade drop protection.

The Resurgence case packs 2600mAh of battery power and utilizes an auto-stop functionality that automatically turns off the case once the device has reached a full charge. The case is made up of a polycarbonate material that improves impact resistance and makes the device better protected for drops and dumps. The case was tested to meet MIL STD 810G-516.6, which drop the device on all faces, edges, and corners from four feet.

With the Resurgence case on the iPhone 6, you charge the device with an included microUSB cable. Since the case adds length to the iPhone 6 at the bottom, OtterBox also includes a headphone jack extender cable.

OtterBox made no mention of a Resurgence case for the iPhone 6 Plus, unfortunately. Pricing and availability for the iPhone 6 Resurgence power case is also unclear at this point. Although, the iPhone 5/5s case launched at $99, so presumably we’d expect roughly the same this time around.

Iphone 12 Diary: The Case Arriving Early Gives Me A Hands

Yep, after being all set to buy the iPhone 12 mini – the phone I’d wanted for years – I found myself going to the opposite end of the range: pre-ordering the largest model, not the smallest.

I explained last time the reason for that, but the tl;dr version is that the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the only way to get the best camera …

The reason is a simple one: my iPhone is my main camera. Not my best camera – I have a Sony a6300 as well as a DSLR – but my iPhone is the camera I always have on me, and so the one I use 99.9% of the time. Indeed, it wouldn’t be too much of an exaggeration to say that my iPhone is a camera, music player and messaging device which I sometimes use for other stuff.

But, despite all the appealing photo features I listed, I did find myself wavering just a little when it came to placing my pre-order. Indeed, I came this close to ordering both phones to cover myself in case the Pro Max was just too big and I wanted to swap.

As it turns out, that precaution appears unnecessary: if I do decide to return the Pro Max and order the mini, I shouldn’t have long to wait.

I’d already created a cardboard cutout to give me a feel for the size, but the arrival of the leather MagSafe case this morning gave me a more realistic hands-on experience of what it would be like to use such a large phone. You can see it above, pictured next to my iPhone 11 Pro.

The first good news is that it still fits comfortably in my hand. It definitely wouldn’t be usable one-handed without Reachability, but then I never use that anyway as it’s rarely a problem to use my iPhone two-handed.

It also fits very comfortably into all my jacket pockets, including those with a phone-specific pocket.

It does, however, fail the trouser pocket test: fine in slacks, but not jeans or chinos.

This isn’t just an aesthetic or security issue: it means the phone would dig into my hip while cycling, and even if that weren’t uncomfortable I’d be worried about bending it. Not a problem for most seasons, when I’m wearing a jacket, but it is an issue in the summer months, when I’m usually cycling in shirt sleeves. This will mean I’ll have to put it into my bike bag (my handlebar design means there isn’t space to mount it on the bike.)

So, the size does definitely involve compromise. Especially when I think about the alternative of the iPhone mini.

The question, then, will be whether the camera performance makes the pocketability compromise worthwhile. So far, the reviews are somewhat mixed. Most say that the difference is smaller than you’d expect, but Austin Mann did have some convincing evidence that it is significant for low-light shots.

Ok, this kind of difference in such a small element of a photo is pretty irrelevant:

But look at this:

That is, for me, a realistic scenario. I love taking low-light shots when eating out, for example, and to me that’s a night-and-day difference in quality, if you’ll excuse the pun. We also have much more to come when the iPhone 12 Max Pro gets Apple ProRAW later in the year, while the mini won’t.

So for me, the question is only whether I can live with a much larger phone than I’d ideally like – while acknowledging, as I did earlier, that there’s also the possibility that I’ll fall in love with the larger screen.

Is it Friday yet?
