Good news for Xbox users. Microsoft just rolled out Xbox Insider Build 2303.230227-2217 for the Omega ring, bringing a plethora of new features, fixes, and improvements to life.

One of them is the audio stuttering bug where users experience out-of-sync and cease playback audio. Being released for the Omega ring means that the feature is close to the general availability release.

The bug can be annoying and choppy, especially for those games that require high mobility, or those online plays that require you to listen to the conversation in real time.

While there are plenty of reasons that cause this bug, some users of high-resolution triple-A games with an over-the-top graphic requirement like Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and the Horizon franchise are prone to this issue.

So, are there any workarounds you can try to fix this, and what other features are coming within this update? Read along to find out.

How To Fix Xbox Game Recording Audio Out Of Sync

Some users experienced audio and video lag in the clips of games recorded via the Xbox Game Bar on Windows 11/10 and via the Screen Recording option on Xbox consoles. While recording gameplay, it is important that audio and video should sync properly, otherwise, the recorded clips are a waste. In this article, we will explain how to fix Xbox game recording audio out-of-sync issues.

How to fix Xbox game recording audio out of sync

If you are playing a game on your Windows computer, you can record your gameplay by using a built-in app, Xbox Game Bar. Xbox console also allows users to record their gameplay but it has certain time limitations. No matter which method you use to record your gameplay; if your recorded video clips are not syncing correctly, the solutions provided below will guide you on how to fix Xbox game recording audio out-of-sync issues.

Before we start explaining solutions, let’s see some workarounds that can help you. These workarounds helped some affected users.

Switch your Game clip recording resolution. For example, if you are recording your game at 4K, switch to 1080 pixels and then switch back to 4K.

Open another game for a few seconds and close it. Now, open your game and start recording it.

Some users reported that the problem occurred on Windows 11 and not on Windows 10. That’s why they rolled back to Windows 10. We do not suggest you go back to Windows 10 from Windows 11. It is your choice. You can use the solutions provided below.

Let’s see the fixes.

Power Cycle your Xbox console

Turn off the Automatically upload option

Decrease the frame rate for recording your gameplay

Install the latest Windows Update

Reset your Xbox console

Below, we have explained all these fixes in detail.

1] Power Cycle your Xbox console

Power Cycling the Xbox console deletes bad cache. If the problem occurs due to the bad cache, this will help. The steps to power cycle your Xbox console are provided below:

Press and hold the Xbox button to turn off your console.

When the console is turned off, remove the power cables from the wall socket.

Wait for at least 5 minutes.

Plug-in power cables and turn on your console.

Now, record your gameplay and see if the problem persists.

2] Turn off the Automatically upload option 3] Decrease the frame rate for recording your gameplay

If you are recording at a high frame rate, decrease the frame rate and then record your gameplay. This should work for you. The following steps will show you how to decrease the frame rate for recording via Xbox Game Bar on Windows 11/10.

Open Windows 11/10 Settings.

Related: Windows 11 Gaming Settings – All you need to know.

4] Install the latest Windows Update

Make sure that you are using the latest Windows OS version. Open the Windows Updates page and check for updates manually. If the update is available, download and install it.

5] Reset your Xbox console

If none of the above fixes resolved the issue, resetting your Xbox console can help. The following steps will help you with this:

Open the Xbox guide.

Select Reset console.

Now, select Reset & keep my apps and games.

This action will reset your Xbox console to factory default settings without deleting your data.

Why is audio and video out of sync on Xbox?

The audio and video syncing issues usually occur in the recorded video game clips on Xbox consoles. This can be due to the high frame rate selection or recording at high resolution. Change your gameplay recording settings on the Xbox console and see if it helps.

Why are my Xbox clips not recording properly?

Some games do not allow users to record the gameplay. Such games disable the recording capability of Xbox. Hence, you cannot record the gameplay of such games. If the game allows recording but you are not able to record the gameplay, check if the Capturing is enabled or not. Power Cycle your Xbox console to delete the bad cache. Also, delete your older game clips and see if it works.

How To Fix Game Stuttering On A Windows Pc

While gaming on Windows, it’s not uncommon to run into complications that hinder your experience. For instance, games often stutter due to various issues, and it can be a difficult task to get things running smoothly again. This guide provides you with practical solutions to fix game stuttering on Windows PCs in a jiffy.

Good to know: check out these tips on how to prolong battery life while gaming on a laptop.

Quick Fixes to Get Started

Before proceeding to the issue-specific solutions, we recommend trying these easy fixes first:

Install the latest Windows updates: updating your Windows system can often fix the issues that are causing game stuttering. We recommend installing any pending updates before trying any of the other methods described in this post.

Update your graphics drivers: your system’s graphics drivers play an essential role in running games smoothly. If your system is running an outdated or buggy version of GPU drivers, update them to the latest version.

Reinstall your graphics drivers: a faulty installation of graphics drivers may be what’s causing your games to stutter. We recommend uninstalling graphics drivers completely, then reinstalling the latest (or stable) version manually.

If you followed these suggestions, and the issue persists, continue with the following fixes.

1. Set the Game Graphics Settings Appropriately

If you’re running a game on higher graphics settings than your system can handle, you will inevitably face game stuttering. Before proceeding, check the minimum (and recommended) system requirements to see whether your PC is up to the challenge. At the same time, you should set the right graphics settings for any games with issues to avoid stutters.

Open the game on which you’re experiencing stuttering.

Set a graphics preset that’s right for your hardware, or manually set options like “Texture Quality” and more.

Also, turn off settings like “Anti-Aliasing” and “Motion Blur” to have a smoother experience on low-end hardware.

Tip: is buying a dedicated gaming laptop really worth it in 2023? Find out the answer.

2. Turn Off the Xbox Game Bar

Windows’s built-in Xbox Game Bar can cause conflicts with various games and ultimately causes stutters, followed by low FPS. Fortunately, you can disable Xbox Game Bar from Windows Settings. To completely be rid of the conflicts due to Game Bar, you will also need to ensure that automatic captures are toggled off.

Use the Win + I keyboard shortcut to open Windows Settings.

Further, turn off the “Open Xbox Game Bar” option in the top left.

Go back to the previous screen (Gaming tab) and select the “Captures” option.

Disable the “Record what happened” option.

Restart your computer to check whether the problem goes away.

3. Enable V-Sync

Vertical Sync, or V-Sync for short, is an option in games that matches the game FPS to your display’s refresh rate so that you can often fix any game stuttering issues you may be facing.

To enable it in-game, navigate to the game’s video settings, and toggle the V-Sync option. At the same time, you can enable V-Sync from your GPU app to have it turned on for all games. These steps demonstrate how to enable the feature using the NVIDIA Control Panel app.

Open Windows Search, and search for “NVIDIA Control Panel.” Select the best match below.

Close NVIDIA Control Panel, launch the game that’s stuttering, and check whether the problem persists.

4. Disable Startup Applications

Most Windows PCs have several startup applications enabled that automatically launch every time you’re booting your computer. We recommend disabling the automatic startup for applications that don’t always need to be running to improve gaming performance.

Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to launch the Task Manager.

From the left navigation pane, select the “Startup apps” option. If you’re running Windows 10, select the “Startup” option from the top navigation bar.

Repeat the previous step to disable all unimportant apps.

Close Task Manager, and restart your PC to check whether anything has changed.

5. Reinstall Windows

The quality of a Windows installation has a significant impact on the overall system performance, including games. A bad install will negatively affect all apps and may cause game stuttering on top of poor system performance and occasional slowdowns. Likewise, if your PC often runs into errors or has sluggish performance, you should consider a fresh installation to keep your PC in an optimal state for the best experience.

Use Microsoft’s Media Creation tool or create a bootable USB drive to reinstall Windows on your system.

Tip: if your Windows machine is facing slowdowns and low performance, you may want to consider cleaning up and freeing up your Windows “C” drive.

Fixing Game Stuttering on Windows

It’s often difficult to pinpoint the root cause of game stuttering issues on Windows PCs. However, trying the fixes we discussed in this guide should help you overcome this problem so that you can enjoy an overall smooth gaming experience. To avoid such issues in the future, we recommend keeping your PC up to date, only keeping the applications that you need, and running scans for optimal performance. Likewise, you may want to learn to optimize your Windows PC for gaming to get the best possible gaming performance if you play many games on it.

How To Fix Lag, Stuttering, Or Fps Drops In Warzone 2

Is Warzone 2.0 lagging, stuttering, or having FPS drops?

Are you having lag spikes while playing the game?

Warzone 2.0 is a large, free-to-play combat arena with a brand-new map called AL Mazrah.

Team up with your friends and fight in a battleground in the city and rural outskirts.

There’s a new sandbox objective-based mode where you can choose your own experience and get gear to keep in your inventory.

If you purchase the Vault Edition of MW2, you’ll get the Red Team 141 Operator Pack, FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, Battle Pass, and 50 Tier Skips*.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix lag, stuttering, or FPS drops in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

Why is Warzone 2 lagging or stuttering?

Warzone 2 is lagging or stuttering either because your graphics card is outdated or your video/graphics settings are too high.

An outdated graphics card cannot support the game while high video settings will decrease the game’s performance.

If there are too many players playing the game at the same time, the servers might be overloaded which can cause lag spikes.

Many players are complaining that Warzone 2.0 is lagging.

“Does Warzone 2 lag for anyone else or is it just on my end?”.

“Is anyone else getting Warzone 2.0 lag on Xbox? It’s almost unplayable for me”.

“Bruh, Warzone 2 is actually unplayable right now. The lag is insane. Please fix it @CallofDuty”.

How to fix lag in Warzone 2

To fix lag in Warzone 2, you need to update your graphics card, lower your display settings, and lower your quality settings.

You can also try closing all of your tabs and deleting temporary files.

Keep in mind that Warzone 2 has a high minimum requirement for PC.

The game requires a minimum processor of Intel® Core™ i3-6100 or Core™ i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen™ 3 1200.

In addition, your GPU needs to be at least an NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960 or AMD Radeon™ RX 470 – DirectX 12.0 compatible system.

If you don’t meet the minimum requirements, you’ll encounter a lot of issues while you’re in-game.

Fix 1: Update your graphics card

Fix 2: Lower the display settings

Display mode: Fullscreen borderless

Display monitor: Default

Display adapter: Default

Dynamic resolution: Off

Aspect ratio: Automatic

V-sync (gameplay): Off

V-sync (menus): Off

Custom frame rate limit: Custom

Gameplay custom frame rate limit: 60 (for low-end PCs) and 120+ (for high-end PCs).

Menu custom frame rate limit: 60 (recommended).

Out-of-focus custom frame rate limit: 30 (recommended)

Display gamma: 2.2

Brightness: Default

Constrain mouse to game window: Off

Focused mode: Off

High dynamic range (HDR): Off

Fix 3: Lower the quality settings

Quality presets: Recommended

Render resolution: 100

Upscaling / Sharpening: Default

Upscaling / Sharpening preset: Performance (for low-end PCs) or Quality (for high-end PCs).

Anti-aliasing: Default

Anti-aliasing quality: Normal

Video memory scale: Default

All Details & Textures (Texture resolution, Texture filter anisotropic, Nearby level of detail, etc.): Low (for low-end PCs)

On-demand texture streaming: Off

All Shadow & Lighting (Shadow map resolution, screen space shadows, spot shadow quality, etc.): Low (for low-end PCs).

Post-processing effect (Depth of field, World motion blur, weapon motion blur): Off.

Fix 4: Close all of your tabs

Close all of your current tabs before launching the game (e.g. Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox).

If you have too many tabs or background processes running, your PC’s RAM might be overloaded which can cause Warzone 2.0 to lag or stutter.

Fix 5: Delete temporary files

Search for %temp% using the Windows search bar.

Press CTRL + A on your keyboard.

Select “Delete”.

Select “Yes”.

Fix Cod Dev Error 6032 On Xbox And Pc

COD is one of the most popular games, it has not just one version but there are various COD versions downloaded and played religiously. However, a lot of these gamers have started complaining about weird issues. As per the reports, COD Dev Error 6032 keeps popping up every time the user tries to launch the game. In this post, we are going to talk about the same and see what you can do to resolve the issue.

Fix COD Dev Error 6032 on Xbox and PC

To get rid of the Dev Error of COD, you need to either repair corrupted files or find out if there is some kind of incompatibility. Mostly, it’s the corrupted files, and on Xbox, it’s just that, but on a computer, you need to take other applications into account as well. Hereinafter, we have listed every single solution you need to resolve this issue.

If you encounter COD Dev Error 6032 on your device, follow the solutions mentioned in this post to resolve the issue.

Restart the console or computer

Delete Reserved Space (for Xbox only)

Repair Game Files

Disable every single Overlay

Let us talk about them in detail.

1] Restart the console or computer

If you are facing any issues, it is better to start with the simplest of solutions. Restating the device will flush any temporary files that might be causing the issue in question. It will also close any potential application capable of conflicting with your game. So, go ahead, and restart your console (unplug and replug the cables) or the computer, whichever device you are playing the game on, and see if the issue is resolved.

2] Delete Reserved Space (for Xbox only)

More often than not, the 6032 error code is caused when the reserved space of the game is corrupted. Even though it is not uncommon for a game to have a corrupted cache or temporary files, the sheer size of the Reserved Space can create skepticism in the user’s mind as sometimes the file size can be as large as 15 GBs. However, it would be best if you kept in mind that reserved space is not your saved files, and clearing it won’t harm your progress. In order to delete Reserved Space, you need to follow the prescribed steps.

Open your Xbox and go to COD.

Press on the Start button.

Then, go to Manage game and add-ons.

Select CLEARED RESERVED SPACE.

Once you have cleared the reserved space, restart your device and check if the issue is resolved.

3] Repair Game Files

You may encounter the same issue on your computer if your game files are corrupted. More often than not, the files get corrupted if an installation is stopped midway, for example, if you are installing an update and your close your computer before the completion, your files can get corrupted, but, it is not the only reason. Whatever might be the reason behind this issue, in order to fix it, we can repair the game files. Follow the steps to do the same.

Steam

Open Steam on your computer.

Go to Library.

Go to the Local Files tab and select Verify integrity of game files.

chúng tôi

Launch Battle.net.

Go to the game.

Once you have repaired the game files, close the launcher, shut down your system, reboot it, launch the game and see if the issue is resolved.

Read: Fix Dev Error 6456 in Call of Duty Modern Warfare

4] Disable every single Overlay

Overlays are exciting, sometimes, even useful, especially if you are a streamer. However, they come with a caveat, that is, incompatibility. Not all Overlay apps are compatible with COD, there have been reports that Steam Overlay or Discord Overlay is forcing the game to crash. Even the built-in Xbox Game Bar is guilty of this mishap. That is why we need to disable the Overlay of the app that you are using and then check if the issue is resolved. In case, the issue is resolved, enable them one by one to find out which one is compatible. Once you know the compatible Overlay, adhere to it and you won’t have to encounter this issue again.

Dev errors are pretty common in COD Modern Warfare, Vanguard, Warzone, or any other version of the franchise. Mostly, they can be resolved by flushing out corrupted files and replacing them with new ones. However, every Dev error has a meaning to it. So, before troubleshooting the issue, you should have an idea of what you are facing.
