Good news for Xbox users. Microsoft just rolled out Xbox Insider Build 2303.230227-2217 for the Omega ring, bringing a plethora of new features, fixes, and improvements to life.
One of them is the audio stuttering bug where users experience out-of-sync and cease playback audio. Being released for the Omega ring means that the feature is close to the general availability release.
The bug can be annoying and choppy, especially for those games that require high mobility, or those online plays that require you to listen to the conversation in real time.
While there are plenty of reasons that cause this bug, some users of high-resolution triple-A games with an over-the-top graphic requirement like Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and the Horizon franchise are prone to this issue.
So, are there any workarounds you can try to fix this, and what other features are coming within this update? Read along to find out.How to fix audio stuttering on Xbox 1. Restarting the game

While gaming on Windows, it’s not uncommon to run into complications that hinder your experience. For instance, games often stutter due to various issues, and it can be a difficult task to get things running smoothly again. This guide provides you with practical solutions to fix game stuttering on Windows PCs in a jiffy.
Good to know: check out these tips on how to prolong battery life while gaming on a laptop.Quick Fixes to Get Started
Before proceeding to the issue-specific solutions, we recommend trying these easy fixes first:
Install the latest Windows updates: updating your Windows system can often fix the issues that are causing game stuttering. We recommend installing any pending updates before trying any of the other methods described in this post.
Update your graphics drivers: your system’s graphics drivers play an essential role in running games smoothly. If your system is running an outdated or buggy version of GPU drivers, update them to the latest version.
Reinstall your graphics drivers: a faulty installation of graphics drivers may be what’s causing your games to stutter. We recommend uninstalling graphics drivers completely, then reinstalling the latest (or stable) version manually.
If you followed these suggestions, and the issue persists, continue with the following fixes.1. Set the Game Graphics Settings Appropriately
If you’re running a game on higher graphics settings than your system can handle, you will inevitably face game stuttering. Before proceeding, check the minimum (and recommended) system requirements to see whether your PC is up to the challenge. At the same time, you should set the right graphics settings for any games with issues to avoid stutters.
Open the game on which you’re experiencing stuttering.
Set a graphics preset that’s right for your hardware, or manually set options like “Texture Quality” and more.
Also, turn off settings like “Anti-Aliasing” and “Motion Blur” to have a smoother experience on low-end hardware.
Tip: is buying a dedicated gaming laptop really worth it in 2023? Find out the answer.2. Turn Off the Xbox Game Bar
Windows’s built-in Xbox Game Bar can cause conflicts with various games and ultimately causes stutters, followed by low FPS. Fortunately, you can disable Xbox Game Bar from Windows Settings. To completely be rid of the conflicts due to Game Bar, you will also need to ensure that automatic captures are toggled off.
Use the Win + I keyboard shortcut to open Windows Settings.
Further, turn off the “Open Xbox Game Bar” option in the top left.
Go back to the previous screen (Gaming tab) and select the “Captures” option.
Disable the “Record what happened” option.
Restart your computer to check whether the problem goes away.3. Enable V-Sync
Vertical Sync, or V-Sync for short, is an option in games that matches the game FPS to your display’s refresh rate so that you can often fix any game stuttering issues you may be facing.
To enable it in-game, navigate to the game’s video settings, and toggle the V-Sync option. At the same time, you can enable V-Sync from your GPU app to have it turned on for all games. These steps demonstrate how to enable the feature using the NVIDIA Control Panel app.
Open Windows Search, and search for “NVIDIA Control Panel.” Select the best match below.
Close NVIDIA Control Panel, launch the game that’s stuttering, and check whether the problem persists.4. Disable Startup Applications
Most Windows PCs have several startup applications enabled that automatically launch every time you’re booting your computer. We recommend disabling the automatic startup for applications that don’t always need to be running to improve gaming performance.
Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to launch the Task Manager.
From the left navigation pane, select the “Startup apps” option. If you’re running Windows 10, select the “Startup” option from the top navigation bar.
Repeat the previous step to disable all unimportant apps.
Close Task Manager, and restart your PC to check whether anything has changed.5. Reinstall Windows
The quality of a Windows installation has a significant impact on the overall system performance, including games. A bad install will negatively affect all apps and may cause game stuttering on top of poor system performance and occasional slowdowns. Likewise, if your PC often runs into errors or has sluggish performance, you should consider a fresh installation to keep your PC in an optimal state for the best experience.
Use Microsoft’s Media Creation tool or create a bootable USB drive to reinstall Windows on your system.
Tip: if your Windows machine is facing slowdowns and low performance, you may want to consider cleaning up and freeing up your Windows “C” drive.Fixing Game Stuttering on Windows
It’s often difficult to pinpoint the root cause of game stuttering issues on Windows PCs. However, trying the fixes we discussed in this guide should help you overcome this problem so that you can enjoy an overall smooth gaming experience. To avoid such issues in the future, we recommend keeping your PC up to date, only keeping the applications that you need, and running scans for optimal performance. Likewise, you may want to learn to optimize your Windows PC for gaming to get the best possible gaming performance if you play many games on it.

COD is one of the most popular games, it has not just one version but there are various COD versions downloaded and played religiously. However, a lot of these gamers have started complaining about weird issues. As per the reports, COD Dev Error 6032 keeps popping up every time the user tries to launch the game. In this post, we are going to talk about the same and see what you can do to resolve the issue.Fix COD Dev Error 6032 on Xbox and PC
To get rid of the Dev Error of COD, you need to either repair corrupted files or find out if there is some kind of incompatibility. Mostly, it’s the corrupted files, and on Xbox, it’s just that, but on a computer, you need to take other applications into account as well. Hereinafter, we have listed every single solution you need to resolve this issue.
If you encounter COD Dev Error 6032 on your device, follow the solutions mentioned in this post to resolve the issue.
Restart the console or computer
Delete Reserved Space (for Xbox only)
Repair Game Files
Disable every single Overlay
Let us talk about them in detail.1] Restart the console or computer
If you are facing any issues, it is better to start with the simplest of solutions. Restating the device will flush any temporary files that might be causing the issue in question. It will also close any potential application capable of conflicting with your game. So, go ahead, and restart your console (unplug and replug the cables) or the computer, whichever device you are playing the game on, and see if the issue is resolved.2] Delete Reserved Space (for Xbox only)
More often than not, the 6032 error code is caused when the reserved space of the game is corrupted. Even though it is not uncommon for a game to have a corrupted cache or temporary files, the sheer size of the Reserved Space can create skepticism in the user’s mind as sometimes the file size can be as large as 15 GBs. However, it would be best if you kept in mind that reserved space is not your saved files, and clearing it won’t harm your progress. In order to delete Reserved Space, you need to follow the prescribed steps.
Open your Xbox and go to COD.
Press on the Start button.
Then, go to Manage game and add-ons.
Select CLEARED RESERVED SPACE.
Once you have cleared the reserved space, restart your device and check if the issue is resolved.3] Repair Game Files
You may encounter the same issue on your computer if your game files are corrupted. More often than not, the files get corrupted if an installation is stopped midway, for example, if you are installing an update and your close your computer before the completion, your files can get corrupted, but, it is not the only reason. Whatever might be the reason behind this issue, in order to fix it, we can repair the game files. Follow the steps to do the same.
Open Steam on your computer.
Go to Library.
Go to the Local Files tab and select Verify integrity of game files.
Go to the game.
Once you have repaired the game files, close the launcher, shut down your system, reboot it, launch the game and see if the issue is resolved.
Read: Fix Dev Error 6456 in Call of Duty Modern Warfare4] Disable every single Overlay
Overlays are exciting, sometimes, even useful, especially if you are a streamer. However, they come with a caveat, that is, incompatibility. Not all Overlay apps are compatible with COD, there have been reports that Steam Overlay or Discord Overlay is forcing the game to crash. Even the built-in Xbox Game Bar is guilty of this mishap. That is why we need to disable the Overlay of the app that you are using and then check if the issue is resolved. In case, the issue is resolved, enable them one by one to find out which one is compatible. Once you know the compatible Overlay, adhere to it and you won’t have to encounter this issue again.
Dev errors are pretty common in COD Modern Warfare, Vanguard, Warzone, or any other version of the franchise. Mostly, they can be resolved by flushing out corrupted files and replacing them with new ones. However, every Dev error has a meaning to it. So, before troubleshooting the issue, you should have an idea of what you are facing.
