Suggested January 2024 Oneplus Nord 2T Release Date, Price & Specs

churns out phones like nobody’s business these days but the new midrange OnePlus Nord 2T is a key release for the company.

The phone was officially launched on 13 May 2023 although several details were officially leaked by OnePlus in the run up to that date including the design and processor.

The Nord 2T looks like a modest upgrade on 2023’s OnePlus Nord 2 but has a couple of features that match the £799 OnePlus 10 Pro, meaning it should be a solid Android option if you don’t want to spend big on a smartphone.

It’s also the first Nord phone to adopt the firm’s ‘T’ branding for an updated version of its phones. This usually applies to the top of the range OnePlus phones since the 3 and 3T in 2023, though there was never a 9T launched.

If you want to spend even less on a new phone, OnePlus also announced a £279/€299 OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G.

When will the OnePlus Nord 2T be released?

The OnePlus Nord 2T is available to buy now from the official OnePlus website.

How much does the OnePlus Nord 2T cost?

The OnePlus Nord 2T costs £369 in the UK for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model, while the 12GB RAM/256GB model costs £469. Both are available in the grey shadow (black) and jade fog (green) colours.

The cheaper model is £30 less than the £399 OnePlus Nord 2, a nice discount. The £469 pricing for the higher end version is the same.

OnePlus has said in Europe Nord 2T prices start from €399 for the 8GB/128GB model and from €499 for the 12GB/256GB model.

Rumour has it the handset will come to India, one of OnePlus’ biggest markets, in June, but it’s not yet confirmed.

What are the OnePlus Nord 2T specs?

The Nord 2T packs in the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, an upgrade on the Dimensity 1200 in the Nord 2.

The two models have either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which is non expandable, but there are two nano SIM slots.

The camera specs are practically identical to the Nord 2 with the Sony IMX766 sensor used for the 50Mp f1/9 main camera, which has optical image stabilisation (OIS). There’s also an 8Mp f2/3 ultrawide and a 2Mp f/2.4 mono lens.

OnePlus says the set up paired with the Dimensiy 1300 means better night photography, and the ability to record slo-mo video at up to 960fps.

Pleasingly, the 32Mp selfie camera is the same sensor found on the OnePlus 10 Pro. There’s also the familiar and excellent alert slider for quickly setting the phone to silent, vibrate, or ring.

The Nord 2T’s 6.43in AMOLED display refreshes at 90Hz, a slight shame as other midrange phones are managing 120Hz for the price or less. Even the Nord CE 2 Lite has a 120Hz display, though it’s an LCD not an OLED.

Possibly the best upgrade here is the 80W wired fast charging for the 4,500mAh battery (there’s no wireless charging). This is the same speed as the OnePlus 10 Pro and faster than the 65W speeds of the original Nord 2.

80W promises to charge the phone from 0% to 100% in 27 minutes. We’ll put that to the test in our full review. The charging tech is now called SuperVOOC, the same as Oppo, following OnePlus merging with Oppo recently. Both companies are owned by BBK Electronics, who also owns Vivo and Realme.

OnePlus is shipping the Nord 2T with Oxygen OS 12.1 based on Android 12 but again, this is closely modelled on Oppo’s ColorOS post-merger. While it still maintains some of the OnePlus aesthetic, OxygenOS is now ColorOS but re-skinned.

There’s a promise of two Android platform updates and three years of security updates. Good to have, but pales in comparison to Samsung’s four years of Android and five years of security for an increasing number of its phones.

When does the Honor Magic Vs come out? Plus the latest specifications and pricing info

If you’re looking for the latest Honor Magic Vs release date, Honor Magic Vs specs, and Honor Magic Vs price info then read below!

While Samsung was fearless enough to introduce the foldable technology to the market, it seems the Chinese counterparts are quickly catching up. The Honor Magic Vs is the successor to the Honor Magic V.

In terms of looks and design, this foldable smartphone can give Samsung foldable a run for its money. The company has already launched the device in the Chinese market and is expected to hit the European market soon. Here’s what we know about its release date.

The Honor Magic Vs was launched in China on November 23rd, 2023, and went on sale in China on November 30th.

At the MWC Barcelona in February 2023, the company announced a bunch of new products, along with the flagship Honor Magic 5 Pro. The company also announced a European launch for the Honor Magic Vs.

Although we don’t have an actual date at the moment for the international release, it’s likely that it will hit the shelves at the same time as the Honor Magic 5 Pro, and our current best estimate for the release date of this phone is sometime in May.

Honor Magic Vs specs

The Honor Magic Vs is similar to its predecessor in terms of design. There’s a punch-hole camera on the foldable display, and the secondary screen is also on the larger side, with a punch-hole camera of its own. The Magic Vs also has an excellent hinge design with any gap that creates less of a crease on the foldable screen.

Display: OLED panel

Screen Size: 7.9-inch foldable screen, 90 Hz, peak brightness up to 800 nits. The exterior display is a 6.45-inch, 120 Hz, and up to 1,200 nits.

Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1

RAM: 8GB/12GB

Storage: 256GB/512GB

Camera: A tiple-camera setup on the back, leading with a 54 MP f/1.9 primary sensor, a 50 MP f/2.0 ultra-wide sensor with a 122-degree field of view, and an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

There’s also a 16 MP f/2.45 camera on the secondary display. However, Honor hasn’t mentioned anything about a selfie camera.

Battery: 5,000 mAh, 66W

Dimensions: 141.5 x 6.1mm when unfolded and 72.6 x 12.9mm when folded shut.

Weight: 261g

OS: MagicOS 7.0 based on Android 12.

Honor Magic Vs price info

The Chinese pricing of Honor Magic Vs starts around $1,050 / £880 for the base variant. However, the company has revealed European pricing; unsurprisingly, the pricing outside China is higher. The Magic Vs retails for €1,599 in Europe (around $1,700).

Honor Magic Vs FAQs

Is the Honor Magic Vs the first foldable from Honor?

No, the Honor Magic Vs is the successor of the Honor Magic V.

Is Honor a Chinese brand?

Yes, Honor is a Chinese brand. Honor was founded as a Huawei sub-brand, but in 2023, the company was sold to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology, a state-owned company. It was done to ensure its then parent company, Huawei’s survival due to US sanctions against them.

Oneplus Nord N1 5G Will Join Oneplus 2023 Smartphone Lineup

The OnePlus Nord series will continue to evolve and the company is currently working on the fourth member of the family. According to inside information, the OnePlus Nord N1 5G will see the light, which will be the successor to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G. As for the specs of the smartphone, there is no clarity here. The OnePlus Nord N1 5G is expected to debut in the second half of this year.

Now the company is preparing to launch the OnePlus 9 series, which this time may receive three models. In addition to the basic and Pro versions, OnePlus 9 Lite or OnePlus 9E will be released. The first two models will get OLED displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 12GB of RAM and 65W fast charging.

The lite version should offer a 90 Hz display and will run Snapdragon 865 SoC. Although, most likely, the choice will fall on a fresher platform. And it may well be the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

OnePlus has big plans for 2023, reveals Pete Lau Gizchina News of the week

Join GizChina on Telegram

Pete Lau may refer to the upcoming flagship series

This certainly has to do with the OnePlus 9 series which is set to make its debut in the end of Q1 2023. This year, the brand will unveil three new smartphones dubbed OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Lite. While the two standard editions are set to come with the Snapdragon 888, we assume that the Lite variant will pack the Snapdragon 870, which also makes it a flagship, but priced at a lower price point.

Apart from this, the new devices are also set to come with very powerful cameras. If you recall, Pete Lau previously stated that the company will invest huge resources in cameras this year. The main goal is to become the world’s number on image function. We’re sure that those are high aspirations, but that is something that the company can achieve. After all, the competition is fighting every year and it’s hard to pick any brand right now as the best for camera purposes.

As per reports, the OnePlus 9 will provide two larger main cameras, but no periscope lens. Some even claim that OnePlus will cooperate with Leica or Hasselblad this year. Pete Lau also paid attention to Hasselblad and Leica this week, giving certain credibility to these claims.

OnePlus 9 alleged specs

According to rumors, the 1+9 series will use Samsung Display’s top-level customized screen. It will also have a Sony IMX689 sensor and will have an ultra-wide-angle lens and macro lens. The Pro variant will have a 4,500mah battery with 65W wired charging and 45W wireless charging. The phones will also have dual stereo speakers and IP68 dust and water resistance.

The OnePlus 9 users a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz flexible display. The 9 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch QHD+ 120Hz flexible curved screen. The devices will weigh less than 200g. Both of them are expected for March 2023.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Release Date, Price & Specs Rumours

We round up all the news and rumours we’ve seen so far about the Google Pixel Watch 2.

When will the Google Pixel Watch 2 be released?

There’s no official word yet from Google, and the Google I/O event in May 2023 came and went without any mention or tease of an update to the smartwatch range, instead only covering the Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet.

Instead, 9to5Google reports that the Pixel Watch 2 will make its debut in October 2023 alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

How much will the Google Pixel Watch 2 cost?

Again, there’s no confirmed price details from Google at this point in time. With the Pixel Watch only being released in October 2023, we don’t think there will be too much change from the price of that smartwatch:

Google Pixel Watch (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) – $349/£339/€379

Google Pixel Watch (LTE) – $399/£379/€429

What new features will we see in the Google Pixel Watch 2?

We don’t know the official specs of the Google Pixel Watch 2 yet, so we’re relying on the rumours that have surfaced so far to give us a clue on what we might see when the new model arrives.

There hasn’t been much leaked so far, and matters are complicated by the fact that Jon Prosser has reported Google is in fact working on two models: a standard Pixel Watch 2 and a separate version for kids, though he admits that this latter might end up being released under the Fitbit brand, perhaps as a follow-up to 2023’s Fitbit Ace 3.

The only other big news so far regards the chip inside the watch. 9to5Google cites unnamed sources who claim that the Pixel Watch will be powered by one of the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chips, meaning a switch away from the Samsung Exynos chip used in the first generation.

The biggest impact of the shift is likely to be on battery life, with the site reporting that Google is now aiming for more than a day’s battery life with the always-on display enabled – a big jump, considering the first gen could only just last 24 hours without the always-on display.

The battery could also be boosted by software improvements, given that we’re expecting the Pixel Watch 2 to be the first watch to launch with Wear OS 4, which Google has already teased will include battery life improvements and a more colourful user interface based on Material You.

Aside from that, it’s been pretty thin on the ground. So here are the things we hope Google improves with the Pixel Watch 2.

Better battery life

If there was a main weakness with the Google Pixel Watch, it was the battery life. The small 294mAh cell is a pretty normal size for a smartwatch, but when we reviewed it we encountered inconsistencies in performance, which meant that durability ranged from 48 hours to 12 hours, with no real change in how we were interacting with the device.

Software refinements can no doubt improve upon this, but in the new model we hope that Google can nail down this very important aspect. As we’ve mentioned above, there are rumours of a new chipset in the Pixel Watch 2, so if that is accompanied by software optimisation, then the second edition of Google’ smartwatch could last a lot longer than the one it replaces.

Support for Qi wireless charging

Although the Pixel Watch does come with its own wireless charger, the device doesn’t support Qi charging, so this means you won’t be able to use it with third-party options. This is particularly annoying when you consider that the Pixel 7 offers reverse wireless charging, but the Pixel Watch is incompatible.

We’d like to see this changed in the Pixel Watch 2, as it seems a strange oversight by Google in the first place.

Fitness tracking improvements

While the Pixel Watch offers a good range of fitness tracking options, it omits the auto start, stop and pause features that appear on some current Fitbits such as the Fitbit Sense 2. This means it can miss workouts and not give you the results you’ve earned through your exertions. Again, this seems simply down to software refinements, so we hope to see that implemented in the Pixel Watch 2.

That’s all we have so far on Google’s new smartwatch, but we’ll keep updating this article as more information comes to light. In the meantime, why not take a look at our guides to the best smartwatch and best fitness trackers to see what other options are available.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Release Date, Specs, Price, And All The Rumors So Far

Dhruv Bhutani / Android Authority

Update, June 15, 2023 (02:00 PM ET): We have updated the Samsung Galaxy S24 rumor hub with a rumor correcting previously leaked info about the telephoto lenses.

Original article: Every year, smartphone fans look forward to the latest flagship Android phones from Samsung. In 2023, those flagships were in the Galaxy S23 series. Next year, however, we expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. We know it’s a long way away, but rumors surrounding these phones are already ramping up!

Below, you’ll find all the latest credible rumors surrounding the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. We’ve also included a wishlist, which is made up of things we hope to see but don’t have any evidence for yet.

Will there be a Samsung Galaxy S24?

Although nothing is ever certain in the tech world, the likelihood of Samsung launching a Galaxy S24 series is incredibly high. The company has released Samsung Galaxy S phones every single year for the past 13 years. We see no reason why it would stop now.

Of course, Samsung has thrown us curveballs before. In 2023, for example, it switched up the naming strategy for the phones by jumping from the Galaxy S10 straight to the Galaxy S20. The company did this so the name of the phones would line up with the year in which they were launched. However, we don’t have any evidence to suggest Samsung has a change to its naming strategy on the way. As such, we fully expect to see a Galaxy S24 launch in 2024.

When will the Galaxy S24 release date be?

Dhruv Bhutani / Android Authority

Galaxy S21 launch: January 29, 2023

Galaxy S22 launch: February 25, 2023

Galaxy S23 launch: February 1, 2023

Over the past few years, Samsung has launched a new Galaxy S series in the first or second month of the year. You have to go back all the way to the Galaxy S8 to find a launch that didn’t happen in January or February (the Galaxy S8 launched in March 2023). With that in mind, our money is on Samsung launching the Galaxy S24 series in either January or February of 2024.

In the past, Samsung used major tech events to launch its Galaxy S phones, most notably Mobile World Congress. However, the company has moved away from this and has recently been creating its own events specifically catered to a Galaxy S launch. We expect the company to do the same thing in 2024. In other words, expect a flashy Samsung-specific launch event with hundreds of people in attendance in some major global city.

What features will the Galaxy S24 series have?

We are still very early in the release cycle of the Galaxy S23 series. Therefore, there aren’t too many reliable rumors around quite yet. However, there are certainly a few notable rumors we’ve heard so far, and we can always make some educated guesses based on things Samsung has done in the past.

Specs

Ryan Haines / Android Authority

In 2023, Samsung did something it hadn’t done in a long, long time: it released all Galaxy S23 devices with the same chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Previously, there were two types of Galaxy S phones: a Qualcomm Snapdragon model and a Samsung Exynos model. Snapdragon models would usually hit the United States, South Korea, and Singapore, while the rest of the world would see Exynos models. This sounds like it wouldn’t be a big deal, except that Snapdragon models were universally superior to Exynos models.

In 2024, will Samsung stick with this strategy? We hope it will, but evidence suggests Exynos variants could return in some capacity. Now, if you’re in a country that normally sees Exynos models, don’t grab your pitchfork quite yet. Samsung and Qualcomm have a contract that makes this rumor seem unlikely, at least when it comes to widescale releases of the phones. Still, it is totally possible some very specific Galaxy S24 models could have an Exynos chipset, especially when you take into account Samsung’s troublesome financial reports as of late.

As for other specs of the phones, we don’t see Samsung changing things up significantly. You can go ahead and expect all three Galaxy S24 phones to have the same or better specs as their Galaxy S23 counterparts. That would mean 128GB of storage as the baseline, at least 8GB of RAM on all models, similar battery capacities, similar charging speeds, etc.

What will the price be for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series?

Ryan Haines / Android Authority

Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, S21 Ultra: $799, $999, $1,199

Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra: $799, $999, $1,199

Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra: $799, $999, $1,199

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: What we want to see

Samsung always brings something new to its latest smartphones. However, sometimes it updates things we don’t care about or doesn’t update the things we want to see fixed. Below, you’ll find three things we hope to see with the Galaxy S24 series. We don’t have any evidence to support these things coming or not, but our hopes are high.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Release Date And Pricing Confirmed

Samsung Galaxy S7 release date and pricing confirmed

After months of leaks, the details of Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge may not have been a complete surprise, but that won’t stop people from buying it in droves. All five of the major US carriers are signed up to sell the new Android flagship, and the good news if you’re itching for an upgrade from your current phone is that you won’t have too long to wait.

That’s because the Galaxy S7 release date is March 11th, though you’ll be able to stake your place in line earlier still. Pre-orders begin on February 23rd, which means there isn’t long to decide which carrier gets your business.

On AT&T, the Galaxy S7 will be $23.17 per month on the carriers’ Next 24 plan, for the 32GB phone. The Galaxy S7 edge also has 32GB of storage, and starts at $26.50 on the same plan. Oddly, given what the name would imply, both Next 24 plans run for 30 months.

Sprint will offer the Galaxy S7 for $27.09 per month for 24 months, or the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge for $31.25 per month over the same period. The carrier is also doing a promotion where buyers get a second handset of the same Galaxy they bought for half price, though that takes the form of a service credit.

The carrier’s budget brands will also get the phones, with Boost Mobile snagging both on March 11 too, while Virgin Mobile USA will follow on shortly after.

T-Mobile USA has priced the Galaxy S7 for $27.92 per month for 23 months and $27.83 for the final month, as part of its payments plan. The S7 edge will be $32.50 for 23 months, and then a final $32.39 payment. Alternatively, it’ll be offered on JUMP! On Demand for $32.50 per month for the S7 or $28 per month for the S7 edge.

T-Mobile says that the Galaxy S7 full retail price is $669.99, while the Galaxy S7 edge is $779.99.

Verizon has committed to the February 23rd (8 am ET) preorder date, but is yet to confirm pricing at this stage.

UPDATE: The Samsung Galaxy S7 will be available at Verizon with one plan starting at $28 per month for 24 months ($672 retail price). Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will be released on a plan starting at $33 per month for 24 months ($792 retail price). Both devices will be available March 11.

NOW READ: Samsung Galaxy S7 hands-on

Finally, U.S. Cellular will have a 24 month payment plan option, with the Galaxy S7 for $28 and the Galaxy S7 edge at $32.50. However, there’ll also be two-year agreements, at which point the S7 will be $199 upfront and the S7 edge will be $299.

What there doesn’t appear to be, at least at this stage, is a way to buy an unlocked, SIM-free device from Samsung itself. We’ll let you know if that changes any time soon.

Update the detailed information about Oneplus Nord 2T Release Date, Price & Specs on the Minhminhbmm.com website. We hope the article's content will meet your needs, and we will regularly update the information to provide you with the fastest and most accurate information. Have a great day!
