Portable computers are the hi-fi stereo systems for today’s music lovers. They enable you to carry your entire music collection with you wherever you go, allow you to expand your listening options via Internet radio and music subscription services, and can even serve as the heart of a full audiophile sound system to pipe music throughout your home.
Think about file formats first
Audio formats can be grouped into three categories:
Lossy compressed: Many file types are compressed to reduce file size. This file type is so named because some amount of data is lost during the compression process, which can compromise sound. The greater the compression, the more data that is discarded. A file encoded at 320kbps may sound indistinguishable from the CD file it was ripped from, particularly if you’re listening to it on your smartphone ear buds. But a 128kbps file will have a noticeable degradation of sound. Popular audio formats like mp3, AAC, and WMA are in this group.
Lossless compressed: As its name suggests, this group of file types uses compression without any loss of data. As a result the file sizes are smaller than an uncompressed (though still at least double that of their lossy counterparts) but they retain the audio quality of the source file. FLAC, WMA Lossless, and ALAC are popular formats in this category.
Uncompressed: These file formats don’t use any compression at all, so they duplicate exactly the original audio source. The downside is the lack of compression results in huge file sizes. An uncompressed file can be 10 times bigger than an equivalent mp3 file, so they’re usually only used when you need to edit the audio. WAV and AIFF are the most popular uncompressed formats.
If you’re sourcing your music from your own CD collection, a lossless compressed format will give you the best balance of great sound and space-saving files sizes. If you’re planning to use iTunes to rip files, your choice is made for you as Apple’s proprietary ALAC is the only lossless compressed format it supports. However, FLAC is supported by a variety of music management apps, including Windows Media Player.
Back up your library
The easiest way is to copy all your files to an external hard drive. Storage prices continue to drop, and you can get 1TB drive for $50-$60. That’s enough to hold around 200,000 songs, more than enough for even the most ravenous music consumer. The average person needs far less, but a general rule of thumb is to buy the most storage you can afford. That’s especially true if you’re using FLAC or ALAC files, which can eat up space quickly.
Add some external speakers
The easiest, and perhaps least expensive, way to do this is get a set of computer speakers. You can opt for standard stereo pairs or 2.1 systems, which include the left and right speaker plus a subwoofer for deeper bass. You may also consider surround-sound options if you’re also going to be using your computer for watching movies or playing immersive video games. The most common way to connect speakers to your laptop is through the audio jack, but there are also USB-powered systems and those that connect over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
You’ll get even better fidelity, though, if you run your laptop through a more full-featured sound system. This requires you to connect the PC to an A/V receiver. The easiest way is to use a cable with a mini stereo plug on one end and RCA connectors on the other. Put the stereo plug into the headphone jack of your laptop and the RCA plugs into the audio input at the back of the receiver and you’ll be ready to rock.
Sound abounds with wireless systems
There are a variety of ways get the audio fidelity of a wired stereo setup with the same flexibility you’d have if you just toted your laptop from room to room. Multiroom music systems like Sonos allow you to stream music stored on your laptop all over your house using your mobile device as a remote control. You can set up a similar system by attaching a Chromecast Audio streaming device to each set of speakers in your home. Multiroom receivers—components that include extra amplification plus built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth—allow you to stream music across rooms.
Digital music has enabled us to enjoy our favorite tunes wherever and whenever the mood strikes us – and you don’t have to sacrifice quality for that convenience. With a small investment in time and components and a capable 2-in-1 device to serve as the heart of your system, you’ll ensure you get the most out of your music.

The Basics Of Crowdfunding For Your Business
Crowdfunding is when a “crowd” funds a project or business, rather than one or two major investors.
There are four different types of crowdfunding: rewards, donation, debt and equity.
To run a successful crowdfunding campaign, you need to capture the attention of a large number of backers and convince them that your project is worthy of their investment. Read this guide to learn more about how to reach your target audience.
This guide is for startups and small business owners who are interested in learning how crowdfunding can be used to obtain funding.
Crowdfunding is when businesses, organizations or individuals fund a business without traditional means with small donations from many people. By receiving the necessary boost to cash flow, these ventures can get off the ground or launch new projects. Most of these campaigns happen via internet platforms, have set time frames for when money can be raised and disclose specific monetary goals.
Key Takeaway
There are four kinds of crowdfunding campaigns you can use for your business. With donation-based funding, contributors give money without receiving anything in return. In equity funding, backers get shares of the business. For debt-based funding, donors are repaid with interest. With reward-based funding, contributors receive tokens, products or services in return for their donations.
Types of crowdfundingWhile there are four types of crowdfunding, each receives money from interested donors. Here’s a breakdown of each one:
Donation: Donation-based crowdfunding is when people give a campaign, company or person money for nothing in return. Let’s say you create a crowdfunding campaign to purchase new equipment for your company. The individuals who give you money do it out of support for the growth of your business and nothing else.
Debt: Debt-based donations are peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, which is a form of crowdfunding. In debt-based donations, the money pledged by backers is a loan and must be repaid with interest by a certain deadline.
Rewards: This is when donors receive something in return for their donations. The rewards vary by the size of the donation, which incentivizes higher contributions. Based on how much money participants give to a campaign, they may receive a T-shirt, the product or service – often at a discounted rate. Crowdfunding rules
Most crowdfunding sites have specific rules. Kickstarter, for example, doesn’t allow equity crowdfunding and has a list of prohibited items that you are not allowed to include in your project. It’s wise to read these rules thoroughly before choosing a platform so you don’t have to halt your campaign before it even starts.
If you ignore the rules and jump into your crowdfunding campaign, the likelihood of success plummets. You need to adequately research the different crowdfunding sites so you understand which platform works best for your business.
Key Takeaway
Before choosing a crowdfunding site, review each platform’s rules to ensure you choose the right one for your campaign. Also consider reading our guide to finding a loan provider
The challenges of crowdfundingMany individuals assume crowdfunding is an easy or free way of making money, but it requires a lot of effort to establish a project that backers will perceive as a valuable service. Success isn’t guaranteed, and as crowdfunding continues to gain popularity, backers have become shrewder in the projects they support.
“Crowdfunding works for all kinds of companies at all different stages, but the companies that have the most successful campaigns tend to have the largest and most engaged communities behind them – usually of customers or users or other supporters of their mission,” said Kendrick Nguyen, CEO and co-founder of crowdfunding platform Republic.
Generating this type of widespread support can be a challenge. It takes a strong marketing effort, trustworthy founders and a quality product. According to Ryan Sim, managing director and co-founder of We The People – a company that sells only crowdfunded products – the challenges of crowdfunding are extensive. He listed five key challenges that plague reward-based crowdfunding campaigns:
Finding and implementing a cost-effective marketing strategy before, during and after the campaign
Crafting the right messaging in the campaign description that will drive interest in the product or service
Developing an informative and exciting campaign video that explains the product and its benefits (the main challenge being that it’s expensive to create a really good and high-impact video)
Creating and planning the rewards program to strategically maximize the ROI
Finding the most effective and cost-efficient fulfillment method for the rewards
“It’s important to note that these challenges are just the start of the obstacles to consider when creating a crowdfunding campaign, “said Sim. “In addition to typical ones, every creator will have his own challenges that are very unique to his or her business.”
Other challenges also arise in equity crowdfunding. According to Connor Young, founder and CEO of Ample Foods, equity crowdfunding requires more emphasis on educating potential investors who don’t necessarily have an investment background.
“We’re all so used to buying products online, so investing in a regular crowdfunding campaign is quite easy,” said Young. “You just say, ‘Oh, OK, I’m basically prepurchasing a product that doesn’t exist yet, and I’m going to get it in six to 12 months.’ That’s pretty easy to understand. But for a person who’s not actually used to investing into companies – they’re not a typical angel investor – equity crowdfunding naturally has more resistance.”

Key Takeaway
It takes a lot of work to run a successful crowdfunding campaign; launching one doesn’t guarantee success. It’s important to make sure your marketing message is well thought out and to find cost-effective methods to promote your campaign and reward backers.
Crowdfunding benefits for investorsInvestors have a lot to gain from putting their money into crowdfunding campaigns.
Investors appreciate a low-risk venture, and crowdfunding offers just that. Since it’s not part of the financial market, investors don’t have to worry about the effects of the economy or stock market impacting their investment.
It’s easy to invest in a crowdfunding campaign. Investors can put money into a project or company through a direct online process.
Equity crowdfunding allows investors to fund multiple campaigns, which helps them to expand their financial opportunities and diversify their portfolios.
Key Takeaway
Investing in projects through crowdfunding sites is easy, with flexible and direct payment options. Investors can use crowdfunding to diversify their portfolios.
Tips for crowdfunding successThere’s no one-size-fits-all approach to crowdfunding, but there are three key places to start on your road to crowdfunding success.
1. Communicate with backers.Young stressed the importance of being transparent with backers throughout the process, even after the campaign ends. He explained that nearly every product launch experiences delays, so you have to expect things to go wrong and react with honesty and transparency.
“A lot of it is simply ‘do you have good communication with your backers, even when things go wrong?’” Young said.
Toward the close of the campaign, it’s often good to update the community, explaining where to reach you next and whether you plan on shifting focus to preorders through your own website.
Don’t be shy about keeping your backers in the loop once the campaign ends. A successful crowdfunding campaign centers on fostering relationships with supporters.
2. Share relevant and engaging marketing materials.A good batch of marketing materials will help your campaign stand out.
“It’s about making an emotional connection with someone just as much as it is about actually explaining what the product is,” Young said. “One of the really big reasons why someone invested in the first place to Ample was simply because they thought that I was an authentic guy and that I really seemed to care and be passionate about it.”
With new crowdfunding campaigns launching daily, it’s important to make your campaign stand out from the others. Creating strong marketing materials and spreading the campaign through your network tend to be the best ways of gaining recognition. Ample used a brief video to explain its product during its first crowdfunding campaign.
3. Prepare for the campaign. For the best crowdfunding results, prepare for the campaign before launching it. Spread the word to your family and friends that you’re going to launch the campaign. Be active on your personal and company social media accounts prior to the launch. Give potential backers every chance to find you.
Creating the proper marketing materials also takes time. Don’t try to film an educational video the day before the campaign starts; give yourself time to get it right. Taking a few extra weeks to develop a plan and build excitement around the campaign can help you hit your crowdfunding goal.
Key Takeaway
To reach your funding goal, you must do more than launch a crowdfunding campaign for your project. Market to your base before and during your campaign, and provide updates on your business’s progress to develop a relationship with your backers.
Examples of successful crowdfunding campaignsNot all projects succeed. Few of them even obtain significant levels of funding.
Many projects with excellent ideas end up failing, whereas others with simple premises flourish beyond all expectations. Crowdfunding projects tend to follow a viral method of growth and, as such, are quite unpredictable without the proper marketing.
“One of my favorite investment campaigns on [Republic] to date was RadioPublic,” Nguyen said. “They’re kind of like SoundCloud for podcasts and have investors like The New York Times, the parent company of WordPress and the Bose Corporation. They raised just under $150,000 from some of their most passionate users and listeners. To me, their trajectory is similar to Gimlet Media’s – they ran a $200,000 equity crowdfunding campaign in 2014 and were just acquired by Spotify this month.”
Another company that ran a successful campaign is Peak Design, which set a goal to raise $500,000 on Kickstarter for its Travel Tripod product. The campaign lasted 56 days and had 27,168 backers, raising $12.1 million.
Key Takeaway
The success of your crowdfunding campaign depends on your ability to capture the interest of many people and build a relationship with your base.
Concluding a campaignOnce your crowdfunding campaign closes, one of three things happens:
If the campaign didn’t reach its target amount, funds are returned to the backers. Some crowdfunding websites still allow you to collect all the money you raised if you fail to reach your goal, though often at an additional expense.
If the campaign was successful, you receive the total amount of money you raised, minus processing fees. For example, Kickstarter charges a 5% fee for hosting the fundraiser and a percentage-based fee for payment processing. These payments are only required for successful crowdfunding projects and will not be charged to any that don’t reach their goal amount.
Key Takeaway
If you don’t hit your funding goal, the crowdfunding platform usually returns the money to donors, though some sites let you keep the funds for a fee. Be aware of any processing and hosting expenses as well.

The Parameters Of Data Safety In Business?
In any business sector, data is important. Data or business information is the crucial component that helps you make a decision, and run the organization. Keeping the data safe and secure must be the responsibility so that competitors do not use them to beat you in business. In today’s post, we will highlight the safety parameters of data security.
Before going for data safety parameters, you must learn what data safety is and what kinds of data generate in business, and why it’s so important part of any business. Let’s learn.
What is Data Safety?Data or information safety is a practice that safeguards digital information from cyber criminals and their unlawful activities. The notions ensure that your company’s valuable information is never shared with any third party without your consent.
Data safety is a strategy that every organization adapts to protect their data and prevent malpractices. The safeguard works in the physical security of hardware, administrative access of storage devices, access controls of digital storage, and platforms and software applications.
Data breach causes several reasons, including human errors, cyber prying, application malfunctions, etc. There must be a protection strategy to save the valuable information shared with any third-party vendors.
The Main Elements of Data ProtectionIn an organization, specific departments fall under the high-security zone because those departments store essential data, and leakage may be a nightmare for a company. The three elements that help to safeguard the data are Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability, which are known as the ‘CIA triad’. These three components play a key role in data safety and prevent serious damage to the company.
Why is Data Safety Essential?Maintaining the soft copies of every necessary file in this digital time is challenging for any organization. The words float in the business world, and digital files and documents are accessible from anywhere if you know how to crack the password. Here lies its importance, as data theft not only puts down the company name and fame, it can also bring darkness into its employees’ personal life. Further, your investors’ and clients’ details would also be at stake. So, let’s learn why data safety is important.
It can be Harmful to a Business’s ReputationThe data breach is a genuine threat to your company’s reputation. Competitors can use the data against your company and compromise confidential information with others.
Clients’ details Should not be CompromisedYour clients’ details are the most valuable data which needs high security. If the data leaks out, it can harm your company’s and your client’s reputation. It may bring down the business relationship with your clients forever, and you will never regain their trust.
Your Employees’ Details are ImportantYour employees’ personal and financial information is crucial that include their bank account details, salary details, etc. It may bring difficulties as cybercriminals can use the data against them and steal money from their account. Further, personal details also can be used for unethical practices.
Financial LossA data breach can bring a huge monetary loss for your company. If cyber thefts crack down on the data security code, they can steal your company’s funds. And the consequences are dangerous.
Data breach is unlawful activities that cybercriminals prefer to do. As an owner of your business, it’s your responsibility to safeguard all the information you need to run the show. Online businesses, specifically, are more prone to data breach threats.
Unlike the loops in the system, there are safety parameters for the high security of your essential business data. You need to maintain safety measures each time you use the applications and educate your employees to use them to maintain confidentiality. Let’s learn the safety measures so that you can also protect your business and scale it up.
How to Save Your Business Data?Hackers are everywhere and spying on your privacy. There are techniques you can apply to protect your organization and safeguard your business. If you’re using Microsoft, opt for the right configuration and support system and run safely. There are firewalls, trained employees, and malware detection software to prevent a data breach. However, you must be updated about all the safety parameters to protect the data. Let’s learn −
Keep Everything EncryptedEncryption comes with codes and password combinations. Ensure your employees are educated enough to use the encrypted applications, and before logging out from the system, remember to lock all the digital storage. Encryption, especially in the case of phishing emails, malware attacks prevent well by notifying you and alerting you about the consequences. Make sure you change the encryption code every 15 days or monthly so that hackers can’t achieve their targets.
Enable Antivirus ScanNo software is 100% genuine, and the application has a loophole. You must check each application under high security by enabling antivirus scan mode. If malware or any threat detect, stop the use of it. Regular scanning is important even if the applications have been used for a long time because you need to know when hackers or attackers are phishing the software to get into your digital system. Better safeguard all the applications with high-level scanning.
Check Your Wifi ConnectivityKeep the Wi-Fi safe and secured and connect to all employees at once. Make the connection encrypted so that anyone who tries to connect a new device needs approval from the authentic source. Keep your technician team ready to prevent any suspicious activity, so you can be alert at the need of the hour.
Keep Changing the Encryption Code Keep File Sharing LimitedWhen you share files through servers and networks, it gets exposure. More exposure attracts more vulnerability. It would be the best option if you limit the file sharing and prevent the network and server from being exposed. You can use cloud services and enable its encrypted file-sharing options.
Remove Previous data if Selling old EquipmentMost business houses welcome unwanted cyber-attacks when they sell their old equipment to a third party. Cause the buyers can use the saved data against you anytime. So, only sell equipment by removing the data stored inside it.
Keep Monitoring the NetworkModern hackers target the network to steal valuable information into your system. You must keep monitoring the network and prevent internet malware functions.
Use Screen Lock DevicesEmployees often forget to log out from the application or their laptops during short breaks and keep them in sleep mode or open. It could be dangerous. Here, screen lock options can save their devices and the data, both at a time.
ConclusionModern equipment and applications bring new threats to the business. Use them as needed with proper encryptions. An organization cannot sustain itself alone, as it’s teamwork to run the show. Ensure that your team members are well aware of cyber security and its importance so that they can work to maintain high security and prevent data breaching.
The One Quality Setting High
After countless sessions with the highest performers across the globe, there is one absolute certainty; high performance isn’t something they “do”, it’s who they “are”.
Our life is massively shaped by the way we see ourselves. This is our identity. But like so many people, at some point in our lives we may recognise areas we aren’t happy with. Left to fester, this will lead to an issue of the way we see ourselves, and when this happens, it becomes an identity crisis.
So, how do we move beyond this?
Almost all of us have embarked on a change-piece journey at some point in our lives. New year’s resolutions, self-promises, public commitments. Some of us take inspiration from motivational gurus and teachers while others are inspired by past mistakes. Countless of us have tried, and countless have failed and when we dive into reasons why we fail it becomes evident that there isn’t a clear connection between the behaviours we’re trying to change and the person we’re trying to become. In other words, we haven’t connected to our desire for change to a better identity.
After countless sessions with the highest performers across the globe, there is one absolute certainty; high performance isn’t something they “do”, it’s who they “are”. There is no daily struggle of willpower for optimised behaviours because for these individuals its intrinsic. This is optimal because it would be a huge waste of energy to have to battle to engage desired behaviours daily.
The great news is that none of these individuals started with this level of intention. They developed it. And so, what looks like incredible discipline to the outside world is just part of who these individuals have worked to become, and this is something everyone can achieve.
We need to understand that our willpower aligns with what we see as good. We need to truly see the change we are trying to make as good for us, not somebody else’s version of good. A major part of this process is making the connection between this “good change” and our ideal identity.
The challenge that I come across with most people looking to change is that they aren’t clear on what this better serving identity looks like. The result is that when times get tough, as they always do, we tend to give up because the “what” has no connection with the “why”, and the why is critical because it is our identity.
Once we become clear on our ideal identity, we need to become absolutely dedicated to this vision of ourselves. This dedication will pull us through the challenging times and supporting habits will become the process that will help us get there.
Our habits will rise to serve our deepest aspirations, in particular our identity. Now that we are engaged in the habits that are moving us closer to our desired future, we will become far more resilient to the ups and downs of the journey, because we are far more interested in who we are becoming and less concerned with who we are today. As we continue down the path, keeping a clear vision of what we will look like, feel like, be like, at the end of it, we will ultimately develop the ability to see ourselves at the end. This strengthens the resolve of our mission. There will be a point in time where we realise that this new way of being isn’t something we are doing, rather, it’s become who we are. It’s our identity.

Monoprice has a well-deserved reputation for no-nonsense budget hardware and components, but the Monoprice 2K USB Webcam may be an exception: a budget webcam that’s a little too cheaply made to be worth your time. The price, though, is tough to beat.
Full disclosure: While we tested this webcam thoroughly, we can’t show you any representative pictures that it captured. Why not? After toting it around to test its performance in various lighting conditions, and putting it back on top of an external display, it fell off, landing on the desk—and stopped working.
(Though Monoprice and Amazon use the “2K USB Webcam” as a product name, the device is formally named the Workstream by Monoprice 2K USB Webcam with LED Light Ring and Lens Cover.)
Further reading: See our roundup of the best webcams to learn about competing products.
The Monoprice 2K USB Webcam’s frame has minimal amounts of padding to cushion your monitor, with the standard overhanging “jaw” that allows it to clip over the top of a monitor or laptop display. That sometimes can give users pause, though the webcam seems light enough that it won’t push into your display. If that does worry you, however, the “jaws” fold flat, creating a flat stand, and there’s a screw hole to attach a tripod (not included). There’s an extremely stiff gimbal that allows the webcam to tilt forward and rotate side to side, though it allows just a few degrees of movement. A USB-A cable measuring about 52 inches connects it all together.
The Monoprice 2K USB Webcam, with an integrated ring light and DIY privacy shutter.

Our external display has a thicker bezel than most, but was nonetheless accommodated by the 2K USB Webcam’s design. The lack of padding or grip made it easy to slide back and forth, which can be a positive. But as it turned out, the weight of the cord and some possible user-carelessness caused it to plunge to its doom.
The real, puzzling issue with this webcam is that it’s designed with a ring light to allow you to be well lit in Zoom and Teams calls. However, the camera, by apparent design, can overexpose your face under certain lighting scenarios. Monoprice’s 2K Webcam works best when clipped over the top of a laptop screen, or as a standalone camera. There, your face will look natural, with good lighting and color balance. The additional resolution will help your face look great, too. You’ll notice the same results in a dimly lit room—again, with the webcam clipped over a laptop.
(Some users complained that the camera zooms in too much. First, we’d disagree. But there aren’t any zoom controls, manual or otherwise, to adjust this. Most budget webcams don’t have this option either.)
Monoprice includes a little flipcover plastic shutter inside the 2K USB Webcam’s box, that you must stick on. Yes, you must peel off a bit of sticky backing and affix it yourself—don’t mess it up!
The Monoprice 2K USB Webcam has a fairly standard clamp, though it didn’t save our review unit from falling backwards. That’s partially our fault, to be fair.
Mark Hachman / IDG
Clipping the webcam over an external display, though, introduces problems. For whatever reason, Monoprice’s webcam simply can’t account for the light generated by the display, especially in light mode. The result is that the Monoprice webcam will probably overexpose your face, making you look pale and ghostly. Adding the ring light on top of it just makes the problem worse.
There are two other quirks that this webcam offers, neither a positive. For one, Monoprice doesn’t offer a built-in privacy shutter. Instead, Monoprice includes a little flipcover plastic shutter inside the 2K USB Webcam’s box, that you must stick on. Yes, you must peel off a bit of sticky backing and affix it yourself—don’t mess it up! Secondly, the webcam’s mics are lousy. They’re functional, but you may want to switch the audio within Zoom or Teams to a laptop or external mic of some sort.
Honestly, the price of the Monoprice 2K USB Webcam makes it hard to not recommend: again, on paper, there’s a lot going for it. In practice, however, you might want to consider one of our recommended webcams instead.
Overview Of The Salesforce Release Management For A Business
One must note that under Salesforce, the process for release management is not an isolated one. It is linked with the business’s other processes, like change management, the objective of the business, governance, and additional aspects of the company associated with the business.
The release management process can be managed jointly by the steering committee of the company or the Center of Excellence, often referred to as COE, to ensure direction and success.
The objective of every business for the release management processThrough an organized process for release management, companies attempt to get a reputable, reliable and process that is independent of resources for boosting business value.

Components of release managementGiven below are the components of release management-
Release cycles
The change management process
Alignment with the release on Salesforce
Team structures that are planned and managed
Technological control
Businesses should note that change or release management does not comprise one process. There are several departments involved in this process. There have been several instances where it has been seen that every department of the organization has a unique process for release management that is different from the others.
Consistency and visibilityExperts recommend all the processes linked to release management in an organization should be standardized and streamlined for every user. This is because they are deploying the same resource, foundation, and platform for incorporating their business processes. If they are not streamlined, it is difficult for the company to maintain governance.
For boosting good governance, the processes about release management for every department in the company should be consistent and visible. This means every action of the whole team should be streamlined and supportive in the above endeavor.
The cycles for release managementThe varied sets of customer needs are looked after by several systems. There should be one centralized system for managing them. If they are managed in one place, then the other team members will have access to improved visibility and can track changes easily.
All of the requests for these changes should be prioritized. Moreover, the need of a steering committee is needed to assess the requirements frequently, with which changes in the above system can be prioritized.
Experts from the esteemed name in SalesforceDevOps, Flosum, suggest that if you talk about the implementation phase, then the whole IT and business teams should remain in touch with one another and have proper communication.

Understanding the process of change managementDevelopers can change the sandbox, and they can show any other changes in it too. When the features are completed, they can later be shifted to the QA environment too.
The QA tests the features as per the necessary documentation, after which it can be shifted to the department for unit testing. In this manner, the process for change management commences. On top of this, the components for change management are reviewed.
They include the test cases, the documents for requirements, the production code, and others for the process to be completed successfully.
Alignment with Salesforce ReleaseSalesforce regularly upgrades its code, and so at the time, it can be challenging for businesses to release their code aligned with Salesforce. This is why they need to answer the following questions-
How should these changes be tested?
The release of these changes before and after the release
Business values of these changes when compared to Salesforce’s new features
What features should be planned for taking up?
The number of users that have been affected by the internal release
The number of sandboxes that are available for testing internal changes

The structures of the teams should be planned and managed wellThe release should be divided into many categories during planning like enhancements, fixes, trust, projects, and more. Separate teams should be formed for these categories.
The production team will control the fixes while the enhancements are looked after by the team for production support or project teams. The above also depends on the changes that are needed for the code lines.
If you examine a project team, it is generally broken down into the following-
Business team- This team is primarily responsible for making changes in light configurations that include ways to create and manage users, the territories, the data, and the page layouts by assigning layouts to different users. Moreover, the management of the above relies on the permission handed out to every member of the team and business customers.
Team for sales and service- This team has users accountable for managing the early cycle, quality of the software team, change management process, and more.
Teams for project enhancement – These teams are responsible for managing changes in small projects. For example, they make changes to visual pages, triggers, or small changes to the present integration.
In conclusion, it can be said that project teams are generally responsible for big and complex changes. They have multiple independencies across the other eco-systems of the business, like the ERP systems or any system that depends on it managed by the above teams.
